Institute for Research and Community Services, University of Brawijaya had collaborated with national institutions to fulfill its function in supporting research and community services for community welfare.
The national collaboration in research and community service was to explore and utilize local value resources. It was relevant to the purpose of IRCS UB in performing community services by improving the significance between education, research, and community services.
As an attempt to “Study the Collaboration Output between IRCS UB and Pasuruan District”, the Acceleration Realization Regional Development Focus (Perfop) Team of Pasuruan District held A Comparative Study on Monday (21/11) at IRCS UB.
Besides conducting a study of collaboration output to be implemented in the forthcoming with IRCS UB, the Head of IRCS UB, Prof. Luchman Hakim, stated the importance of village consideration. This consideration was one of the principal things in developing the village community in the future. Corresponding to the request of IRCS UB, Prof. Luchman Hakim, from the Pasuruan Perfop Team stated that he will consolidate the potential & underdeveloped village data to the Head of Pasuruan District.
Furthermore, the Head of IRCS UB Community Service Center Dr. Susinggih Wijana, stated that having a potential region map can help IRCS UB in planning the community service and Student Study Service program. “Besides the potential, we hope that we also have the data for the signature of the village to be developed in empowerment village” he concluded.
