A Comparative Study from Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Institute for Research and Community Services

In improving the management quality of research and community services, Universitas Ahmad Dahlan Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM UAD) conducted a comparative study to University of Brawijaya Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM UB) on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 in Gedung Layanan Bersama 6th floor.

Head of LPPM UB, Dr. Bambang Susilo, stated his positive response to the effort to share knowledge by LPPM UAD to improve research and community service quality management. He explained the general information about LPPM UB which has started research and community management based on University of Brawijaya’s transition to legal status. One of the agenda, said the Head of Research Division, Sugiono, Ph.D., is collaborative research between legal status universities using fund from World-Class University and journal review programs. There were also described other internal funding from the university.

LPPM UAD, led by Dr. Widodo, asked about the management and evaluation of research study under LPPM, as the important point to develop a research group. Furthermore, Head of Student Study Service of UAD, Purwadi, PhD., interested in the collaboration between students study service and Doktor Mengabdi (a program for Ph.D. lecturers conducted community service) primarily on the frontier area. In the middle of the discussion, there were also dialogues about education, one of them was the tips and trick to attract foreign students to study in UAD. They hoped that besides sharing about research and community services management, they also studied education management as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education (Education, Research and Community Services).
