Indonesian Research Collaboration Program (known as PPKI) is a collaborated program from eleven incorporated universities (called PTNBH) in Indonesia. Both Brawijaya University and Universitas Sebelas Maret are engaged in this collaboration as a pre-step in order to face the status changing from public service agency to PTNBH.

On September 25th, 2020, LPPM UB hosted Monitoring and Evaluation for PPKI through a virtual meeting. Head of IRCS UB, Dr. Ir. Bambang Susilo, MSc.Agr., stated his acknowledgment to all members of the institute for research and community services in eleven incorporated universities to trust IRCS UB to be the host of this meeting. Besides the fact that PTNBH decision letter has not been published yet, Brawijaya University is so thankful to be the opportunity to join and collaborate in this research.

Meanwhile, UGM Deputy Rector for Research and Community Services, drg. Ika Dewi Ana, M.Kes., Ph.D, in her speech representing eleven PTNBH said that universities in Indonesia can collaborate through various activities, one of which is research such as PPKI. “Alhamdulillah, PPKI has entered the end of its second year. Hopefully from the results of this research we will not only exchange distinctive things and lend human resources, but also benefits in other fields, “he said.

In line with the UGM Vice-Rector, Brawijaya University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR., MS emphasized that great research is research that can be utilized by the community to develop Indonesia. “I hope that this collaborative research will continue to be improved both quality and quantity. Brawijaya University will support the funding. Brawijaya University as PTNBH adapts, is ready to study with eleven PTNBH to go forward, “said the Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture.
