Training on Organizing Research/Service Reports and DRPM UB Financial Reports

The Directorate of Research and Community Service (DRPM) at Brawijaya University (UB) organized a training session on preparing research and financial reports for internal and external funding for the Fiscal Year 2024. The event took place on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in a hybrid format at the Algorithm Auditorium Room, Building G, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM).
This training was attended by approximately 300 financial administration staff members who were appointed by the head of the research and service executive. They actively participated in the training session and engaged in interactive discussions with the resource persons. The event also included a symbolic contract signing ceremony, which was attended by representatives of the heads of recipients of internal funding from DRPM UB for 2024.
Prof. Luchman Hakim, S.Si., M.Agr.Sc., Ph.D, the Director of DRPM, expressed that the purpose of the training was to minimize errors in financial reporting. Mirna Amirya S.E, MSA., AK., Ph.D from the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) delivered the first session, focusing on the financial reporting of research and service grants. She emphasized that financial reporting should ensure that the research output aligns with the contract, not only concerning the Financial Reports (SPJ).
The next session was conducted by Dr. Mohamad Khoiru Rusydi, M.Ak., CA., Ak., the Director of UB’s Budget and Treasury Directorate. He presented on “Research and Community Service Financial Accountability Policy,” providing insights into budget management and accountability for research activities in 2024.
Dr. Lukman Hakim, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D, as the Head of the DRPM UB Research Center, highlighted that the Progress Report or Final Report should be an analysis report by the head researcher regarding the findings or facts obtained during the research. Yusron Sugiarto, S.T.P., M.P., M.Sc., Ph.D, the Head of the UB DRPM Community Service Center, continued by addressing the challenges and necessary steps in organizing reports of Community Service activities.
