The Annual Meeting for LPPM UB Work Program 2017

As the effort to increase the role of Institute of Research and Community Services – University of Brawijaya (LPPM UB) in actively built the nation through research and community services, it is required to compose working program a focused and integrated work program as our institutional key success.

In association with it, LPPM UB held Annual General Meeting for composing a Work Program 2017 on Friday and Saturday, Dec 2nd-3rd, 2016 at Jambuluwuk Hotels and Resorts Kota Batu. In this occasion, LPPM UB worked with The Agency for Research and Community Services (BPPM) at faculties of Brawijaya University together with the Center of Intellectual Property Right and Center of Thematic Student Study Service.

This event was opened officially by Head of LPPM UB, Prof. Woro Busono, MS at 8.00 am. It discussed LPPM UB’s working agenda for the next year. The agenda were to create: (1) Workshop in Mentoring and Composing Proposals for Junior Lecturers, University Top Research and National Competitive Research, and Community Services, (2) Citation Management Workshop, (3) A Training to Choose Reputed Journal, (4) Social Mapping, (5) International Ritech Expo: Downstream and  Commercialization, (6) Monitoring and Evaluation for Cooperation, (7) LPPM Annual Meeting with BPPM, (8) Workshop in Developing Research Interest, (9) Workshop To Share The Strategy to Get Foreign Research Funding, (10) Workshop To Strengthen Research Study, (11) Workshop on Thematic Student Study Service, (12) Development in Information System for Research and Community Services, (13) Workshop to Develop Village, (14) Reference of Lecturers Competence in Research and  Community Services, (15) Adiwiyata (Thematic Green School) Workshop, (16)Science and Technology Documentation, (17)Development of Promotion System and Focus Group Discussion about Cooperation with other institution and industry.

At the same place, the following agenda was a training for LPPM UB journal operators by Dr. Hagus Tarno and Ardian Wahyu S., SE on Friday, Dec 2nd, 2016. Then, on Saturday, Dec 3, 2016, the staff of LPPM UB joined a program for improving motivation especially potential and innovation in performing their duties.

Hopefully, LPPM UB could realize its vision and mission with the guide of Work Program 2017 with the support of staff who have innovation in improving institution achievement.
